Patient Story: Marise’s Story
Marise Barsalou learned her mother was given 10 days to live.
She will never forget the night her mother was suddenly taken to the hospital – fearing it was something bad. Later, she learned her mother was diagnosed with cancer.
“It taught me a lesson that I will never forget – Love to the last minute of your life, because you never know when that last minute will come.”
Today, with her mother in remission, she gratefully canvasses with her schoolmates because she believes donations provide families like hers hope for the future.
