Patient Story: Jacob’s Story

Jacob Squarzolo is diagnosed with Neuroblastoma stage 4S.

At just 10 months of age, Jacob woke up with what appeared to be a swollen left eye. Following a visit to the hospital and few weeks of tests, his family learned he had Neuroblastoma, a malignant tumor of the sympathetic nervous system. Jacob, now two years of age, continues on his journey of hope.

Thanks to the addition of the Lion’s Den, he can maintain the dignity of childhood he so bravely continues to earn.

The Lion’s Den

Thanks to the efforts of the Lion’s Club, $200,000 was raised in the North to fund NCF’s vision of a Children’s Pediatric Wing. The Lion’s Den provides a comfortable atmosphere for young patients like Jacob.

The Northern Cancer Foundation [NCF] raises needed funds in support of the Northeast Cancer Center which provides leading-edge cancer research and progressive patient care here in the North.
